Default Fired up the Forged 347 Tonight *Video*

We finally got done with my cars new motor.

Spec'ed out to the following:

Forged 347, 2000 LS1 Block
Block was decked .010
Lunati Pro Mod Rods
Diamond Forged Pistons with Pro Select Rings
Lunati Rod Bolts
ARP Main Studs
Ported Ls6 Oil Pump
LS2 Timing Chain
Comp OEM Lifters
Futral FM14 Cam with supporting valvetrain
Stock Ls1 Heads
LS6 Intake
ASP Pulley

Car went 11.6 @ 117 @ full weight last year, through a 6 spd with a 12 bolt and the stock ls1 intake and stock pulley... should make 20-30 rwhp more with the mods and upped compression.. and it will be getting a nice shot of nitrous very soon.

Heres the video, Open headers with fm14 cam.. it was struggling to really find its idle.

Enjoy.

Nice car! How do you like that cam? I have been running it for awhile in my stock 346/241 heads car for awhile. Where did you get your short block from?

Purchased the rotating assembly from a member here and had a machine shop do the work and put it together. Then dropped the shortblock in the car and went from there.

Cam was awesome, car ran great before. 11.6 @ 117 with the stock heads, stock ls1 intake, stock pulley, and a mail order tune. full weight m6. Should run even better on motor this year and even better on spray.
