supra revs it up and busts windsheild at dragstrip?
how the hell does this happen did the airbag go off

The supra has to be the most unreliable track car ever built. I seriously think they have about a 50/50 shot of making it off the line without breaking something. When I was at the track last year I saw the same supra break at the line 2 times in a row. I just dont think they were built to hold as much power as people put them through.

I read the comments and the guy broke something in the driveline. This in return set off the airbag sensor and the passenger airbag went off.
Can't say that I ever heard of that happening...Then again, I don't go to the track too often.

That's happened to a few F-bodies also after snapping the driveshaft. There's a vid of atleast one of them. In the F-body case the bag module is attached directly to the tunnel and it obviously get's alittle confused when shocked, might be a similar set up in the Supra.
