It's not an air dam, it's truly a splitter. An air dam goes right up to the bottom of an intake path and almost routes the air in. This one gets close, but is still open.
This one literally splits the air speeds over and under your car just before it gets to your car to to create a down force. And you can actually feel it at highway speed keeping the nose to the ground.

They do have their own, but they're not like these. These are more subtle, which I like and I would seriously consider these for my car if I can find anything out about them.

Here's a before and after of my '02 z28 this summer. Before it was on the stock 16" snowflakes, stock shocks and stock springs. After I added Koni shocks, strano springs, 18" z06 spyder wheels, and whistler mod headlights. Didn't get to tint the windows this year, but it is on my list for 2016.
