Gutwrenching I tell ya. I think this is a time to look back and reflect on past memories and how we all looked forward to seeing what the next years F-body brought to us until the end of production.

I remember having a dream of seeing a 350 TPI motor under the hood of my 85 bird, back when the LT1 was fresh. .. That was back in 95... I am VERY proud to have owned two F Bodies. THese cars have been my passion since I was 15. Just they way they make me feel when I'm behind the wheel. The 85 was only a V6 but I fell in love with the way that car handled.

THis thread gives me goosebumps now...

"These cars live thru us" is a damn good statement..

Man that was a sad video. I actually ran out to the garage to make sure the car was tucked in and if it needed anything. Whats funny is the TA is like a family member in my mind. I love that thing. Wow, emotional.

Ill never forget in 97 when they released what the 98's were going to look like, I was so excited. I even asked my dad to take me to the dealership so I could get a sales brochure and book. Thats all I could think about, the day I got one that was all mine. It seems so long ago. Ill never forget before I owned mine how I would see any 98 camaro or TA how excited I got. Man I wish they were bringing back both cars at the same time.

**** i had to see this video on work now my eyes are all watery, it was very excited when i got my 93 formula, when my accident happened i was more worried about my formy than about myself, when i got out of the hospital i went straight hope and saw that it was a total loss, and yes i did start to cry and felt angry at myself , then about two months later i bought my 96 trans am and now that i sold it i miss it very much.

Little bit of a tear jerker for sure. I've owned 7 f-bodies and had nothing but fun in each and every one of them. 2 second gens in my high school days a 30th Av Z, a 99 TA, a 98 Z28, an 01 SS and a 96 v6 (well there isn't much v6 about it any more). I still have the SS and the 96.

Can't wait to see how the 5th gen does.
