What other mods do you have done? LT's...cam? Definitely a lot louder than my LM

I agree on the LM I love the way my car sounds but it attracts to much unwanted attention from the cops.

Id rather the other car, it would go nice next to the Silver 1981 931 in the garage upstairs.

I thought LM's were loud untill I got this car......... Last time I got on it like that people heard me 3 miles away....... no joke. Crusing you hear me about a mile and a half away.

I feel ya though on the attention from the cops, its not fun after a while......

I have a few neighbors that are cops, they are cool with it so far as long as I am not doing anything stupid.

The LM setup is soooo nice, if there was no such thing as cops I would keep it for sure but with this H/C set-up it is just way too loud at idle/mid/WOT. I'm gonna be sad to see it go but I just got two violations in one pull over so now more messing around....

Juiced, I had the same thing I will get my friends from all around town calling me asking me if I just got on the highway when their house's are at least a mile away, which makes me feel bad but at the same time it's like O great I wonder how many cops could hear me

I know how you feel, the very first time driving out of the synergy parking lot a cop had someone else pulled over but, he stopped put his hands on his hips and just stared at me like I just farted in his face or something. I think if he didnt have someone else pulled over already he would have came after me.

Ya exactly, the other day my buddy with an MS3 and tru-duals were at a light where they were searching someone's car and all 3 cops stopped and watched us leave the light....

LOL it happens when you have cars as loud as ours. Im changing over to magnaflow I like the way they sound.

I went with Borla XR1's and they sound awesome. Very deep aggressive sound even at full throttle. And they are stainless. I will also miss the LM. But these are sweet.

I know what you guys mean. I had a LM1 last summer at three in the morning I whipped a couple of donuts and sped out of town. A few second later my buddy who lived around a mile away across my old small town called. He says "You ass, I was sleeping." I said how did you know it was me:devil: I felt kind of bad for the people who lived less than 30 yards away. I'm now onto a Hooker with an DMH cutout.

I really need a V8 with a SLP LM no lie I would enjoy it. its in my blood to drive loud fast cars. I wouldnt feel bad for anyone hearing me. I would feel bad for those people who have to listen to fart cans attached to a honda.

Its gets old quick trust me, especially when you have to look over your shoulder for cops trying to pull you over cause your car is to loud.

Mine is so bad that when everyone goes out to local spots for well "spirited driving" and people talk about me getting on it to show off they say I can't till everyone is ready to go home because cops miles away will be headed over. They really say that haha.

What I learned was to be as carefull as you can, on the highway stay in the slow lane on the highway, from a stop accelerate a little slower then you would in a cavalier or something.

From what I can tell MOST cops don't mind or will not say anything as long as they can tell you are trying to be respectfull and carefull and not trying to annoy the neighbors. If I got on it all the time I would get pulled over all the time.



Anything done to your dads car? My dads 931 has a few odds and ends. Its a dog compared to what I am used to but scarey in the twisties :D If I remember right it was the first factory production car to pull a full G on the skidpad.
