my buddy has an 04 KB cobra. stock bottom end. 608 RWHP. i believe his best run was an 11.105@ 129 on drag radials

Yeah, I was on stock runflats until a couple of months ago. Best 60 on rfs was 1.87 and that wasn't consistant. Mich. PS2s gave me a consistant 1.85-1.88 60ft.

I agree with the kind of HP and mods those guys had, they should've had better ETs, but you race BOTH the driver and the car, not just the car, or we'd all be dyno queens and paper racers.

lighten up, anything can be made to go faster, it's whatever is the "hot" car at the time. I remember when EVERYONE wanted a GN so they could do the same thing the supra owners do now, dump a crap load of cash into something that is worth more bone stock. Besides, the last Supra I ran blew up before he passed the 1320 mark, so no one knows how fast he was going.

Only reason that crap costs so much to build is because of the fast and the furious crap, after that the prices doubled over night.... i was going to buy a stock Black 1998 M6 TT Supra with 12,000 miles on it for $11,500. movie came out during that week, i came back and the guy jacked it up to $23,000 and they're been there and over that ever since. :eyes:

no problem, man, no offense taken. I feel the same way about the 77 Bandit TAs, although it's a little different. I would love to have one again, but with Year One buying up everyone thats not tied to someone and re-doing them to the tune of $100K , and with the exposure on Kid Rock and other music videos, I'll never afford one again. Even ragged out Supras here go for over $10K
