All have 5.7 liter and weigh nearly the same. But the LS1 is significantly faster due to its higher redline and more torque higher in the powerband.
Nope, your looking at PEAK numbers, Im talking about the whole torque curve. The LS1 is quicker because it is making more torque everywhere.

In the same gear, 400ft.lbs at 2000RPMs wont pull any harder than 400ft.lbs at 4000RPMs, even though hp has been doubled.

Sure buddy, keep telling yourself that.

Again, you are a tard! An LQ9 IS an LSx based motor. EVERYTHING that works on an ls1,2,3,6,7 works on top of or in an LQ9. So, seeing how all of that works, it shows that the LQ9 is IN FACT an LSx variant aka production LSx block.

Give it time, when the PRODUCTION LSx 6 bolt block really gets put to use, you will see MANY fastER cars than your beloved gay50z and supra.

For the record I am a camaro owner, so I'm not bias towards supras, or lsx cars either. I appreciate both for what they offer. Just merely answering a your question along with additional info.

This is the fastest IRS supra in the world. This is the car that lined up with LMR's stock suspended lsX 10.5 camaro in march.

Boost Logic also has a supra that has gone 7.75. Both are on 91mm turbos.

As far as 6-speed cars go Supras I believe have gone quicker down the 1/4 then any lsX car I've ever seen or heard of. Infact the fast LsX 6-speed I can think of is n/a built by S.A.M that went 8.75. The supra 6-speed record is 8.49.

Here's the 6-speed record holding supra.

That motor was not an option for a camaro or trans am. Your suckin on fine feathers now. The point is, your swapping larger stroked out motors and comparing them to 3.0-3.4 liters of displacement. This still isnt enough to run mid 6's and over 215-217mph.

Isn't the 2JZ a 3.0 liter engine? If you wanna talk about a 3.4 liter Supra don't get pissed when we talk about LSXs that are larger than 5.7 liters.

Why would I get upset. My point is, your displacing 2.5-3.5 liters more and not producing faster times.
