Default Some pics of the now finished SS

Still have some little things to wrap up. I took it for a 30 mile cruise the other day, on open headers . Everything runs great for being on a startup tune, heres a little parts rundown.

XHP403 forged about 11-1
decent cam profile
P&P 243's,bigger valves,HS adj. rockers
Vic. jr , 4barell TB
Fuel system, A1000 pump, 65# injectors
Full UMI Susp. Moser 12 4.30 gear
Prostars 15x10 15x4, 325MT Radial ET

Bad *** car looks great. Only thing I dont like about those setups is how you have to cut the cowl dont think I could do that.

I didnt mind doing it. I think it turned out halfway decent once I got everything welded back in.

Looks great! Is there a certain reason you didn't just go with an Fuel Injected setup?

it is still fuel injected, he just has the throttle body on top instead of in the front

Not to mention the horsepower difference between the "retro" setup and something like the fast intakes is not to far apart. I think it looks meaner too.

I really appreciate you helping me out. I had a lot of questions and your answered all of them. I will post up some dyno numbers sometime next week after I get off of midnights and get the car down there. You guys build one hell of a shortblock, Ill be coming back next year when I do my turbo 408

Lol, its ok trust me your not the only one to have made that mistake. Like I said you dont see to many of these setups unless they are carbed. Thats why everyone just assumes thats what it is. Thanks for the comments

How come you decided not to run the 90 and the big single blade tb? Does the 4 barrel tb flow better?
