oh well that is good news. I wouldn't be surprised if he refunded your money for reasons other than to just give your money back.
My hold on PayPal got extended from 9/16 to 9/28, not sure why, I'm guessing he knows how he can stall the longest. I can't believe they wait on that money that long both PayPal and eBay have pissed me off to no end lately.
I'm not willing to wait around 2 more weeks while this guy can get a headstart. One person not getting their money back is enough to **** me off. He hasn't responded to my PM yet today so it will be interesting to see what he comes up with this time.

If you paid with a credit card through PayPal you can contact your credit card company and file a dispute also... Unless it has been too long since transaction. I purchased a large item this way on Ebay, then guy never sent item, said he went bankrupt.. Contacted my credit card company and got all my money back.. Worth a try...

A quick and easy solution to this scammer ordeal on Tech is to create a custom rule in VB to not allow new users to send PMs until a certain amount of days/ and or certain amount of posts, like how the classifieds are setup now. It won't stop all of them, but if it will save one person from getting ripped off, then its done it's job.

Well chalk me up as another one who got screwed. I posted a WTB Z06 cam thread an he pmed me with pictures and said he would do it for $130 shipped. Sent him payment via paypal. Its been 2 weeks no cam. Pmed him multiple times and he responded to me all the way up to the day this thread was started. Go figure. I started a dispute through paypal as soon as I read this thread. Lets see how this goes. I'm contacting my bank tomorrow because I used my debt card through paypal. Hopefully they will have some good news for me.

its crazy how many times he has done this to people and how many have filed claims with paypal and it seems as if they are oblivious that this guy has had how many people requesting their money back from him screwing them over.. seems like they would do something.. oh wait.. paypal is ****** worthless thats why

I'm guessing it's well over 1k total, which is probably enough to get someones attention. I don't see the difference between internet fraud and other forms of theft. I just wonder how willing police departments are to follow-up on stuff like this.
