Watch out for 2fast2furi0us - a scamming D bag
Watch out for this dude. I threw a thread up saying I was looking for an LT1 WS6 hood (for a friends car). He PM'd me a few days later and said he had one, $700 shipped from Chicago to New York with all of the factory airbox stuff included, hardware, hinges and even a brand new K&N. All of this off of a 97 car that had got its *** taken out going sideways into a tree. I asked for pics. He sent some pretty generic looking ones but whatever. I asked if he could do $500, he came back with $600. The next day he came back with $575 IF I could send the money that day. And then said he would throw in an LS6 intake. So a mint hood and an LS6 for $575 shipped. A little too good to be true. Especially when he told me that he needed a little more room under the hood and bought a cowl, and that he had just clay barred the whole car. Clay barred a wrecked car, which went from being a 97 to a 96 during a LENGTHY text conversation. I tried to call him and he didn't pick up, claimed he was at work. I texted and asked him to take a picture of the intake on the hood of of an LT1 WS6 with a wrecked rear end. He then got belligerent and tried everything he could to convince me he was legit, and that I was being a dick. Claimed he had an electric bill due in the morning. Totally shady. I very nicely said no pics no cash. He said if he was trying to scam me me the pic wouldnt matter and that I was protected by paypal. I told him to send me the specific pics or dont. Obviously havent heard back from him. I dont know what kind of S this guy is trying to run, but I'm not the only one he's tried it on.......

If you send paypal as gift, to avoid fees. Paypal will not do a thing for you. You can try to contact your bank but it will be an uphill battle. I just made a purchase on craigslist where a guy asked me to send as gift to avoid fees. I said no way, and opted to add $15 to pay the fees.

Your last recourse is if you used a credit card to pay through Paypal your credit card company will help you, if you used a debit card with Paypal you just learned a very expensive lesson,
