Lane's true duals installed

All I gotta say is the sound is SWEET. :hail: I got the 3" kit with 12" Twisters. Interior drone is definitely absent. This is the first exhaust setup I've come across where I can truly say it's loud on the outside, quiet inside. It's basically stock sounding except around maybe 2200 where it's a little louder than stock, and it's noticeable but not obnoxious on the outside. But at WOT, it screams. It's very smooth sounding with no rasp.

I won't have access to a digital camera until Monday. I've got pictures of my stock exhaust with a coke can measuring clearance, and I'll take pics of the true duals to give a direct comparison of ground clearance. Clearance is good all around, a little low up front, but so was the stock Y pipe. The mufflers tuck right up beside the torque arm. I'm guessing maybe I lost an inch or so where the X pipe is but that's about it. Lane's kit is DEFINITELY worth it.

Hey Lane, are your kits over the axle or just dumped?

Yeah it did, but I actually didn't do it, just helped some. I don't have a drill and my friend who has all the tools is gone for the weekend plus I had to get it on today, so I took it to the local performance shop. The shop is run by mainly Mustang guys and a few ricers, and they were impressed with the quality of the exhaust. I helped a little on it, and we got it on in about an hour or so. If I had a drill, I probably could have done it in the same amount of time even without a lift to be honest; it was very straightforward. Maybe this is a sign I need to invest in some more tools besides just jacks and wrenches... :)

QTP and TSP True Duals

I just received my QTP Headers, and I am getting ready to install them to my TSP True Duals. I tried to slide the headers and X pipe together last night but for some reason it just does slide in very well. DO I need to take a mallit and bang them together. Thanks for the help guys

Yeah I banged mine onto the collectors (Pacesetters are slip fit). You don't have to bang them very hard so be careful.
