LT's setting O2 code?
 

I've had my LT's on for over a yr now, back in early summer it set off a ses for one of the O2's. I cleared the code, never came back. I've driven it 1,000 miles this yr. Just started it up the otherday to warm up so I can change the oil before I put her away and set ses again.

Codes are Po135 and 137. Hearter performance is the first one Bank 1 sensor 1. Low voltage sensor 1 bank 2, I think. I think the codes before were similar, can't remember exactly. Any ideas?

Sometimes they get lazy when they get older and the headers put them farther down the exhaust stream which doesn't help. I had to replace one with my header install.

I hear the vette o2's heat quicker but have never tried them personally.

Yeah, the O2's on my LT1 seem to crap out every few months with my Jet-Hots. They are the Bosch sensors though, which have a bad reputation. Then again they always come out looking nasty black, maybe it's just the high mileage or something....don't care at this point since they're warrantied and I have a new motor going in soon anyway.

I never really took a poll to see how many others have O2 problems though, so it'd be interesting to hear others' input.

Heater codes and low voltage codes are failing O2 codes that have nothing to do with headers.
The only codes headers will cause are insufficient switching and slow response.

Your O2's are just going out.
Get GM O2's made for an F-Body and use extensions. Don't get the vette sensors, they're not always the answer and they have a colder heater despite rumors of them being hotter.

And I've also tried Bosch and had them fail at a documented 1300 miles (meaning I wrote the miles down when I installed them).

My car has 16,000 miles on it. Is it really possible to have 2 O2's fail?? I haven't herd that O2's are a common part to fail on these cars, so thats why I thought somethin was up.

low voltage exist when it might be lean

It sounds like you are using the originals with extensions.
Heater codes might be caused by faulty wiring in an extension.

If you still have the rear O2's and are not using them just swap those in. And check the extensions.

same problem, i thing setting plug gap to .040 from .055 may have fixed this

A failing heater is a failing heater, theres nothing you can do to prevent this. Now since you never said what extensions you're using, and the other sensor is getting low (heater) voltage, it sounds like a wiring problem, OR the O2's are both failing.

Again, the only codes that LT headers will cause are insufficient switching and slow response. These two are due to cold sensors, caused by AFR problems, lack of heat retention, or FAILING HEATERS AND LOW VOLTAGE TO THE HEATERS.
