Default TB blade scratching inner TB

How can i adjust the blade so it doesn't scratch the TB. After installing this ported tb, the blade doesn't sit ALL the way down.. it hits the floor on the underside just a little. How can i adjust this? Please be as specific as possible. Thanks.

When I ported my TB the blade was sticking occasionally. It turns out the blade was off center slightly. You could barely tell by looking at it. I knocked the shaft/blade a little to one side and it doesn't stick anymore.

is it possible to take a dremil and grind a hair or 2? just in the area where it scrapes? seems like that would be a very cheap alternative compared to tearing it apart or purchaseing a new one...

^^is newbie tech where newbies mislead other newbies?

you can adjust it "just a little" as you indicate you need to.

just use a torx screwdriver and loosen up the screws that hold the blade.
then flip the throttle open and let it snap shut a few times and it will center itself.

also... check to see if it really is the blade hitting, or if the screw on the bumpstop simply isn't letting it close all the way.

Yes, this method will self-center the blade and then
you adjust the stop screw to keep it just short of
bind. Back out the stop first so the blade gets to
snap all the way home and then reset it so there
is no blade drag when you are satisfied.
