Question Cheapest Chevy Parts Supplier?

Being I purchased an ex-cop car it is in need of a few cosmetic items. I am having the entire car repainted this winter and I am needing to replace the headlights. I have been told not to bother with aftermarket lights because quality is much lower compared to factory.
I have found numerous GM Suppliers with prices all over the place, most in the mid $500 range for both. I was wondering if anyone could tell me of the cheapest supplier they know?

Thanks for any info.

if the headlights are just foggy nasty yellow you can just wet sand them if thats the deal...pm me if you need to know more.

aftermarket are great you can even get some projector style ones and still cost 1/2 price of new stock ones...

ls1tech is your freind just keep an eye out for cars being parted out
if your get on one of the cars first you can just give the seller a list of parts youll need

I am replacing the current ones because they have holes from the strobe lights that were in them. This is causing the lights to build up moisture on the inside. I like the looks of the projectors but with this being a rare car I am trying to keep stock looking as possible...also going with the sleeper look.

Hit up ebay for repro's, they're the same as Genuine GM.

That's a cool car man... I live in Cobb County and have seen that thing over the years chasing the local kids on Barret Parkway. I met one of the cops who patrolled in it and he showed me the entire ride... It used to have a gun rack in the backseat... It held two assault rifles and a shotgun! sad to see it gone really.

Thanks. Yeah, it was the last one still in service. They said it was used as a back-up car for about the last year. After they started getting the Chargers no-one wanted the Camaro's anymore.

I know its a 2000 Camaro. But is 1 of 39 white automatic B4C's for 2000...I'd say its pretty rare.

well i would say save your money and just place something small piece of metal or aluminum and just use silicone to make it a water tight seal..

i have opened up my lights and closed them up using silicone and never got moister in them.

that would save u cash for performance parts

I rather have the Camaro than the v6 chargers my county in getting. 1 of 39 is pretty rare. although, it prob wouldnt help with resale like other rare cars. did they even make manual transmission b4c cars? i saw the one in that movie Marine...but IDK how much weight I put on that.

In 2000 I believe their were only 4 M6 B4C Camaro's...making them the rarest. Also the STEP Chargers are 5.7 HEMI's they had a black one on the lift when I was picking the Camaro up.

Check the parts classified section. Occasionally stock headlights pop up in great condition and aren't too expensive.

i think some of the police are using the v6 ones...but I dont know for a fact. that is an interesting fact about the M6 cars...It is amazing they can do that, I mean, i would not be able to eat jelly doughnuts and shift my car at the same time.

Thats probably why they only made a few

They do make a 3.5 250hp V6 which is just as fast as the Crown Vics...which of course = SLOW
