Default LS6 valley cover vs LS1

Wanted to know if anyone has used the LS6 valley cover with an early LS1 setup, and what changes need to be made, if any. I've attached pictures of both....
Thanks

We do that swap all the time due to the PCV system on LS1's not being up to the task on high RPM/HP conditions.

if you dont have an ls6 block you will have to remove a piece of the block in the valley on an ls1 to make the ls6 valley cover fit

I was doing knock sensors and asked this question when I seen all the oil in the intake.
I got replies from a few vette owners saying they still run catch cans and get a lot of oil in them.
So basically it gets rid of some hoses but does nothing about oil sucking into the intake.

Yes, you can use it no problems, as another poster mentioned, you just connect that fitting to a catch can, and block off all the connections that would be part of PCV system to bypass it so no oil can get into the intake.

You can use the LS6 valley cover without grinding anything on a block.
