Well.. you could always get them and tell us how they are IMO though it's not usually worth it getting the cheap parts, you get what you pay for. There is A LOT of research that goes into the name brand parts that the imitations just don't have.

yea i feel ya on that but they really arent that cheap.. they're just 200 bux cheaper then the qtp.. i figured that they couldnt be that bad but i guess if im gunna spend the dough, I might as well get the best..although ive heard really good things bout pacesetter and they r alot cheaper

LPP is a sponsor here, and from reading other threads posted, no one has anything but good things to say about them. Search around a bit for "LPP headers" and you will see some awesome reviews.

I have those headers and ORY. I couldnt be happier with them, they fit PERFECTLY, and you dont even get that with some of the more expensive brands. The construction is top notch for sure, the merges are perfect, welds are high quality, theyre not cheap no-name ebay headers. The polished stainless looks awsome and should last damn near forever too. I HIGHLY recommend them, you wont be disappointed.

I will be buying LPPs here VERY soon, and i decided to go with them for a couple reasons. First of all, they are stainless steel, which is important to me because of midwest winters. Second of all, they are priced pretty well. 600 for LTs and a y-pipe sounds pretty good to me.. and lastly they are a sponser here, and i have heard their customer service is top of the line!!

I have them on my Lt1 and they are awesome. I had to do a couple mods to make them fit, but I got the first run LT1 batch. Did alot of other work, but my H/C Lt1 put down 414RWHP through a dana s60 rear end
The LS1 headers and Y-pipe fit perfect from everything I hear or read! Hes had them out for a while now and has corrected any fittment issues.
Also they are 321 stainless wich is the best you can get for an exhaust system.
I recommed them. Anything else in the same ballpark as these are alot more $$$$

American Racing headers are the best I have come across. I only wish I could afford a set. The fitment and quality of them are amazing. I will have to look into LPP and see what's up with them.

For now my pacesetters seem to be holding up fine and I only payed 379 for them coated.

American racing headers are great but my personal opinion is the lpp headers are about up there with the AR Headers and half the price. The lpps have excellent quality
