Default Anyone have input on what I may dyno with these parts?

Hi, I have a 2000 Z28 with an Automatic, I don't have any internal engine mods on it, no cam or anything like that but I wanted to list the parts I have and maybe someone has these parts and would have an idea what my hp rating would be, I just don't have the cash right now to get a dyno on it, so wanted some ideas from you guys, and I know some of the parts here don't do anything with hp but wanted to list everything done on it currently, thank you.

I can't really guess as to what you rwhp #'s will be.. but I will make a suggestion .. return some of those parts and get a torque convertor for your car.. you will see the most drastic change for your money.. a TC on an A4 car will give you the best bang for the buck with the exception of huge cams possibly. Also the TC will make the other mods more noticable as you will be able to make use of the power. My .02

Thanks DreaD, I thought about the torque converter and will get one probably next year after I save for a while, it's just right now I have all these parts on there, I did not just buy these, I had these put on over time, but yeah I heard the torque converter makes a big difference, I just don't know with it being an every day car how it would be in stop and go traffic? Thanks.

It'll be awesome for stop and go traffic if you don't go too high of a stall speed. I highly recommend the TCI SSF3500. It feels great for normal driving because the high str counters the 3500 stall speed to keep it from feeling too loose. All you need is some drag radials for the back because that verter can smoke street tires if you hammer the throttle. I have a friend who let me drive his ls1 with the tci ssf3500 in it and WOW what a difference. It'll feel stock to you after a few days of driving around with it and you can cut 1.6 second 60' times while shaving .5 off your 1/4 mile ET.

Best part is no more dead spots! Woohoo, no more feeling like a V6 when you punch it at 35 MPH. Just get a shift kit and trans cooler when you do it and you will be all

Trust me the TCI SSF3500 is the best prices, best performance torque converter for the daily driver who can not spend $900 on a yank.

Get one and you'll wonder how you survived without it.

Good Luck

im guessing you putting down around 310 320 to the ground. all depends on the car, some dyno higher than others.

hey thanks guys, yeah the torque converter sounds great!! I will really have to buy one of them, probably next year sometime I can get the money for it, and your right about the crappy spots on these automatics, it sucks from 30 or 40 right now, I hate racing anyone from that speed too, but the torque converter I imagine like you said will take care of that problem!

i also think that you will be around 120, the lower gears will take away some power on the dyno readings, but its really noticable on the road
