Default What's the specs on my motor???

I have an LS1 out of a 2001 Trans Am with a WS6 package.

Does anyone know what the specs are (rwhp, torque) so on and so on

Thanks

I'll assume by the wording of your post that this engine is in a vehicle other than the WS6. If this is correct, then to say exactly is going to be tough. Is the car it's in an automatic or manual? What rear end and gear are you using? These things will all affect the readings but you could safely say that the engine should do around 300 or so RWHP and a tad more than that torque. Manuals will dyno more and a 7.5 rear will dyno more than a 12 bolt. You get the idea.

more info would help, but jabroni is definitely on point for this one. expect a little over 300rwhp on a manual. less for an auto due to parasitic drivetrain loss being rather higher. what kind of car is the engine sitting in?

The WS6 package does not apply to the motor. You have an '01 LS1 motor. It'll make about 350hp on an engine dyno. Torque is in the same ballpark too.

Sorry guys

It was real late when I put up that post..............

I guess I ment to say at the flywheel, because it's going into my 1998 jeep wrangler and it has a built 4L60E and the rearend will be a ford 8.8 with 3.73 gears turning 33" tires.

I need to know what THIS motor can put out, as far as horse power and torque at the flywheel [B]

Thanks

Like I said...on an engine dyno (aka flywheel horsepower) it will make about 350hp/350tq.

Maybe throw a cam in it while the motor is not installed. Shouldn't take but a few hours.
