Funny there is no forum on that page that I saw...I wanted to ask what the ls1 sounded like if you could still hear any piston slap when the sound was distorted by the doppler effect because the ls1 was passing by the listener in his ford muskrat so fast. Funny ford wouldnt' replace the motor in my SC when the head gaskets went and coolant got in the oil so I had to rebuild. Apparently only chevys aren't perfect though. Seems some of those punkstang owners are so pissed that their cars are slower that they have to vent by trashing the ls1's reputation any way they can, including dedicated web-sites now.

Piston slap? What's that? I thought my '00 LS1 was a diesel.
