Default Open headers?

I am going to have an exhaust shop weld up a y-pipe for me and they are only 5 miles away from my house, will I burn up the O2's or a valve driving that short of distance??

I don't think you will hurt your valves in that short of a distance, but you could mess up an O2 sensor. I thinks you will be OK.

yeah your O2s might go out, be ready to have an extra set handy in case. your valves are far enough up the header to remain intact

Pull the O2s out and wrap them and tie them up. Then have the exhaust shop screw them back in when its on the lift. You will get an SES light during the drive but that's no big deal.

You'll be fine as long as you don't rag on it. Keep the rpms down and should be ok.
