performance cam markings If I buy a used cam do the manufactuers have their logo engraved on them or any distinguishing marks? I just don't want to buy a cam someone pulled from a parted out ls1 and advertise it as something else. Thanks for the help.

there should be a casting or part number or indicating sign. then to make sure call up whichever company the guy says the cam is from and see what they can tell you by the number.
my tr230 has the "tr230" engraved and a few other numbers indicating its a TR cam.
