Default Hatch Swap

What is the best way to swap hatchs? Do I remove the bolts under the headliner or the nuts on the hatch. Directions on how to do the swap would help.Any hints on how to line the hatch up?

There are a couple wires under the headliner/dome light cover. Once those are loose, there are 4-bolts, 2 per side under the headliner that are holding the hatch on. Unbolt those and it will lift right off.

if you do the nuts on the hatch you take the risk of shattering the glass

No matter what hatch you go with, you need at MININUM two strong guys holding it up and another inside the car bolting it up. We did one recently and the hatch fit pretty good 1st shot. We did the nuts on the hatch route as well.

No joke. I was amazed at how heavy it actually was when we took it off. Wish I could run lexan in the class I'm running!
