Default An Exhausting Question!

It's been a while since I've been on here and finally got going on my '69 Camaro, "Time Warped". I started the build back in December and below is a pic of where I'm at today, Wayne Due sub-frame and '01 LS1/T-56 (actually a LS6 block!).
My question is actually two wrapped into one; I want to use C5 Corvette exhaust manifolds but that would involve a fairly complicated steering shaft (all parts would be Borgeson) that would extend the column using a stabilizer bearing and then two double u-joints to stay in front of the manifold. The tech guy at Borgeson said it would work but would I be better off going to either F-body manifolds and converters (already on hand and my budget is getting thin) that would simplify the steering shaft and cut it's cost in half, or go to headers which would still involve a more complicated steering shaft?

Go with the F-Body manifolds if your budget is running dry

I have a set of 98 manifolds you can have for $30 + shipping. I will tell you the 01-02 are a little better and worth maybe 5hp over mine.......

Thanks for the offer, but I already have a set of 2000 and 2001 F-body manifolds, along with the C5 manifolds. Just wish the C5's gave me more room for the steering shaft!
