newb- asa ls1 questions- heeelllllppp! 1 Attachment(s) need some help from u guys!! til now i've been running sbc stuff, so this computer/ injection stuff is all new to me. i am planning on purchasing an asa ls1 race engine tomorrow that should be here by next week. the engine is coming complete minus the harness, pcm, exhuast manifods, dry sump tank, and harmonic balancer. guess my main concern is the harness and pcm. do i need a specific set up for a asa engine? who makes a haness/pcm set up thats good and cost effective? is there a certain damper i should use? this setup will be going into a truggy(basically trophy truck minus body) i'll be running it with a reverse manuel valve body th400. if anyone has parts i need let me know? does anyone have experience with these asa engines? any advice would be welcomed? |
Google painless wiring for the harness.... Yes you will need a PCM. Look in the classifieds or try some salvage yards. ATI hands down makes the best balancer (big $$$$$) for these cars but you literally have a ton of choices. I'll sell you my stocker for $20 + shipping |
? are u saying i will need a specific asa pcm or will any tuner be able to program any ls pcm to work? |

Scrap the PCM/harness and do a carb conversion, simpler, cheaper and sounds like more your cup of tea http://www.extremespeedonline.com/ga...serialNumber=2 http://www.extremespeedonline.com/ga...serialNumber=2 Love the car dude:burn: |
