LS6 Intake Manifold Installation
So as per everyone here on LS1 Tech's suggestion i went ahead and bought a new Z06 LS6 Intake Manifold, now im wondering what kind of a pain its going to be to install, and what kind of gaskets im going to need? Any suggestions to simplify installation for me? What am i up against?

I just did mine yesterday. i watched TheBlueKnights videos like 3 times before i did it, lol. Then I just went at it. i had the intake out in under an hour. The last 4 intake bolts were being a PITA but it wasn't too bad. Be careful with the Oil Pressure Sending Unit though! And I mean that. I broke mine even after knowing it could break and tried to be really careful and I still broke it. You can buy a gasket kit from just about any autoparts store. But yeah, watch BlueKnight's videos and check out the other How-to as well for a little more reference and you'll be fine. It looks like a big job but it really isn't. I put in some Hooker LT's and the Intake over the weekend all by myself with no problems (other than breaking my sending unit). Goodluck!

yeah it comes with the gaskets for the ports and foam pads and welcome to LS1Tech. Everything you could possibly wanna do to your F-body has been done and they have all the threads to prove it

It's really easy I could probably do one in less than hour and a half. Just make sure you have the coolant crossover pipes, or you take the fins of your LS6, watch the oil unit too.
