Arrow !AIR tip

Unless, upon removing the AIR system, you are changing to LT headers with no AIR hookups, then you will need block off plates.

They are fairly easy to make yourself using 1/8" thick aluminum like what you can buy online. But... most likely you will be reusing the stock bolts to mount these plates. If so, you must realize that the bolts will need to be spaced out with atleast three 5/16" washers between the bolthead and the block off plate. If not, when you screw your bolts into the header, they will bottom out and the threads will be ruined.

If you want your block off plates to look better, I would recommend either shortening the stock bolts so washers aren't needed or buying new bolts. I'm pretty sure the size is 6mm x 1.25.

P.S. the reason I'm writing this is because I ran into this problem last weekend and ended up having to drill out my headers and rethread the holes......lol
