just installed ls1 in car started engine have no oil presure at idel
but when you give some gas presure will go up.
soon as you go back to idle goes back 0.need help.
new ported pump,and oring,plugs are in block.

I would check the oil pump o-ring first and make sure it isn't pinched or cut. If that looks good, make sure all the plugs are in the block. There is an oil galley plug in the front and oil restrictor in the back. I bet you will find the problem there.

i read this is a common problem...

thanks for your input found problem i installed double roller timing chain they come with
shims installed one the wrong way that was the problem.
