Just got a 1998 cam ls1 cop car I took the car out to the track and ran a best of 13.61 @102. all stock. I like get input from everybody on any mods for the like tranny,gears,tuners,intake and anything else. thanks mark

IMO, before modding I would start with the basics. Your ET wasn't bad, but 102mph is a bit on the slow side, even for a stock car. I would suggest covering all basic maintenance/tune-up items (filters/fluids/plugs/wires, MAF & injector cleaning). If you have an OBD scanner or access to a scanner, I'd do some basic scanning to look for out-of-line fuel trim, O2, TPS, and timing/knock retard readings or stored codes as well, just in case.

what rear gear do you have ?you can find the code on the left door jam.look for a ls6 intake for sale on this forum for $300.start looking at exhaust systems.whats your budget?how fast do you want to go?read alot of threads and stickies to figure what you want to do.what tranny?
