Default H/C Help!

I need some help when it comes to picking out a head/cam package. I'm unsure of what all the numbers mean when a cam is being described and the same for when it comes to heads and how man cc/cfm and how much air flows thru them. Can someone please break them down for me so I can understand what I'm looking at and know what I need to purchase for my 04 GTO.

Give us a call sometime and we can run over everything with you. Figure out what you want from the car and what you are doing with it and we can run over your setup and get a package put together. We carry a variety of heads as well as camshaft and have all the necessary accessories for the install. We are your one stop shop for everything you need!

TSP is top notch. But VA Speed is only a few hours drive South of you. I prefer to buy head and cam packages let alone get the work done by a shop locally just in case there are any issues that arise.

Even if you had someone else install it, we can back you up with any technical support you might need. We have shops all over the world installing our heads/cam and even motors. I can't see you having an issue with any parts we sell but we stand behind them 100%.

read the sticky listed above a few hundred times and you will begin to under stand cams .whats your budget ?the more duration of the cam the higher the peak power will occur.the bigger the cam the more gears and a higher stall converter is needed.the biggest cam dose not mean the fastest car.look at a TSP head/cam pkg,or go to vengeance racing to get a idea of costs and parts involved.ask alot of questions and you will get the information you need .
