Default My new 2000 z28

my names Jc i just purchased a 2000 z28 with 86,500 miles on it for 5000. Its my second z28. i really didnt do much to my first one but i plan on putting a good amount of money into this one. so far its just as fun as the first one just have to replace a trans mount and the rear main seal before i can really start having fun. Here are some pictures tell me what you think and feel free to give some advise.

nice car, good price. What are your plans other then exhaust?

I just got an 00 z28 as well. a4. Came with 2.73s. im looking at just bumping up to 3.42s and a stall, shooting for mid 12s with just a lid and catback.

nice clean car, just dont do what most ppl do and jump straight in to asking how much turbos cost and how much HP SC's will add. the reason i say this is, if you plan on working your way up to nitrous, turbos, or Heads and cam setups, please build it to hold it first. i.e 9in rear, locker, stage 2 torque converter and so on. best place to start is like what these guys are saying, CAI and full exhaust first , just to get the ball moving. so what exactly are your plans for her? drag track, street car, show car, autocross?

A fast street car. After i do the full exhaust i plan on upgrading the suspension and drivetrain Before i go back to putting money into the engine. I know the rear ends on this car arent that good so i plan on upgrading the tranny and putting a new rear end in it. then ill mess with the engine i have a friend with experience with lsx motors thats helping me out.

I saw you asked about a catback, but the tips in the picture aren't stock. Are you sure it doesn't already have a catback on it?
