Default installing new shocks - anyting else make sense to address in parallel?

I am building my car for 90% street use & occasional (maybe 2-3 times at the most per year drag racing (mostly to determine 60 ft. and 1/4 mile E.T. gains of major mods as I add them. With the exception of a Motion Control Total Prothane Poly bushing kit, my current suspension is 100% stock.

I am planning on installing a set of SLP valved Bilstein's on all 4 corners. I was wondering what else is recommended to be done while I have it apart? I do plan on a complete aftermarket suspension in increments as I am able to afford it. Does it make financial sense to replace anything else with the shocks or to enhance the performance of the new shocks with supporting additional parts at the same time?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Sincerely,

Tom Sullivan

Sounds like your looking for a auto-cross type suspension tune, go to the Suspension Specific section, you will find lots of data.

What else? do the springs too while you're at it with the whole Bilstein BTS kit .

Once you start spending money on suspension, you can't stop

besides replacing anything worn or broken, if you're on a budget and plan to upgrade later i'd source a 32mm swaybar and put poly bushings/endlinks front and back.

never a bad time for tubular LCAs and matching Panhard. I really like UMI's 3pt SFCs also.

Unless you have two f-bodies and have to buy doubles for both vehicles! lol...

FWIW I love my bilsteins!
