Default vats question

I am sure this has been addressed but I have read everything on vats bypass boxes that I could find and dont see anywhere where there is a clear direction to take. I have a 98 slp z28 I have pulled the motor and harness out of and bought a vats box and have not the foggiest idea where to hook it up on my harness. I have to assume it would have to be one of the three connectors that came from inside the passenger compartment but I dont know. also is it refrenced as something other than VATS on the pin outs? I am installing this motor into my 68 camaro and want to keep my converter and transmission currently in it (th350/ 10" custom built converter) and dont want any problems before I start.

You can just send us the ECU and we can delete the VATS out of the computer and tune it for what you have done to the motor in the car. Would be a lot easier than running that box.

what is the cost of removing the VATS on a computer and is that all that needs to be done for the motor to be stand alone?

as far as changes go I have changed the intake to a BBK SSI with a stock throttle body. The harness has the connections for a 4L60E but I want to use my TH350 (no VSS being used) are these changes major?
