Nice. Looks like it's got a lot of weight reduction mods. Sounds fast already. A cam will make it even faster. Have fun with it.

Well i dont really care to race this car, if anyone has a low mile SS car that is more streetable and more for cruising with ttops then i wouldnt mind trading mine over.

Congratulations OP!!

Funny thing is, I remember some years back when this car was for sale by its original owner. Everyone was hatin' hard on his for sale thread. lol I think he was asking $12k and the car was going mid-low 11's bolt-on only(11.3/4 if memory serves). I believe it had a smaller converter in it at the time but was being sold with the 4000 stall brand new in the box. I wanted to buy it but had a few Mustangs at the time eating away at the pocket book. How ironic.

Yeah i talked to that original owner on the phone last night. He was going threw a hard time back then due to his father passing so had to part with it cheap. He is from illinois and i got it way up in michigan. 2 owners since him but the last didnt even title it cause he got it in the winter and the last guy only put 2000 miles on it. Im amazed by the car. Ive owned alot of muscle cars and other cars and this one is the only one that puts my heart in the back seat with the touch of the throttle. I dig it but id really rather have a nice looking cruiser so i can take my daughter out for icecream and what not. I just got it as a deal piece, couldnt pass on it for what it is.

Yeah he seem to be a pretty nice guy. He sure put a lot of attention to detail into that car. Good luck however it works out for you!
