Default Advice on what performance parts next...

About a week ago i purchased a 2001 ws6, its stick with 47k miles. It has hooker long tubes, no cats, dynomax muffler, slp air box lid, and msd plugs and wires. Im planning on making it a summer toy, not a track car. What should my next mods be? thanks in advance!

Depends what you want to do with the car?? Engine, suspension, drivetrain etc? Is it going to be a corner carver or a straight line car?

I would look at doing suspension next if I was you. It will make the car more solid and will give a good foundation for adding more power down the road.

I would think about a set of gears, 3.73 or 4.11 and some subframe connectors.

Drag radial tires great for the street and hook much better than stock. You should get a relocation crossmember to get your torque arm off the transmission or get a tunnel mounted torque arm. You should be making decent power with what you got you should focus on having the car hook up better before adding more power.

Before ANYONE should even dream of posting on here, they need to read the sticky at the top.

Please read this: https://ls1tech.com/forums/new-ls1-o...anna-fast.html

Then tell us what your next mod is!! That link is so under utilized!!

A nice set of shocks will do wonders. Drag radials are an underrated upgrade also. Def read that sticky though and figure out what direction you want to go with your car.

You already got the bolt-ons... I would go with suspension next.

The '01s came from the factory with an LS6 intake.
