Default weird question about wire loom

On the back of my alternator, there's a single red wire that has a wire loom around it:

It's part of the fuel pump upgrade wiring harness kit I got from Nasty Performance. I think the PN for it is PN FLT1-FPWH. Anyway...

I need another one of these long looms for a single wire (I have the wire, just need the black plastic wire loom sheath that goes around it). I checked Oreilly's and Autozone, NO DICE.

Does anyone know where to find this thing by any chance?

Also, I'm not sure what those plastic things are called. I call them wire looms.

Thanks for any help/advice; I know this is a weird question.

The covering? I buy it in bulk from Part Express. Excellent prices.

Did you try NAPA? That's where I got some of my......conduit? when I Frankenstein'd the wiring in my Dodge's ignition wiring and headlight harness. If you decide to try NAPA go to the one here: 7440 Convoy Court, 92111. It's like a super-NAPA or something, although even these guys couldn't find a little rubber elbow that fits into my 97Z's emissions b.s..

Badass, thanks for all the responses. Myk, I'll check out that NAPA later today man, thanks.

SilverOne, if they don't have it, would you mind if I just buy some of yours? You have some for a single wire right?

Ok, got it from the horse's mouth - I emailed Racetronix and asked them. They said the smallest wrie loom they had was 1/4". Boo.

The pro-touring guys though said that what I needed was 1/8" loom and they found some on ebay. So I just ordered this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...9#ht_500wt_956

The description says that it's good for single wire installations, so it looks ok to me.

Thanks again for all the help!

We told you your Racetronix harness uses 1/4" loom to cover the 10G wire. Polyethylene loom is low-temp cheap stuff. We only use Nylon loom.

And I told you that I actually put a 10g wire inside of a 1/4" loom, and it was still too large. So unless your 1/4" loom is smaller than the 1/4" loom at a parts store, I don't see how that's the correct loom, sorry.

My 1/8" loom came in the mail and I took a pic of it with 10 gage wire inside of it. The fit is perfect, just like the first pic I posted.

Here is the pic:
