Default TR cheater classic or tru torque

i have a 01 ss with bbk 85mm tb and ssi intake manifold with bbk longtubes and slp lid, borla catback but replacing with corsa, will be getting better heads later on down the road, i will be getting a thunder camshaft but i want to see input from anyone seeing these applications or owning one and how the power is. originally i looked at the 224/224 cam but seeing the cheater cams (v3 is the one im looking at) i kinda like the specs on it. betting tho with long tubes and no cats the cam doesent sound as stealthy as they planned. any advice? i like the lopey sound and i want noticable power but nothing crazy killing gas mileage

The cheater line of cams are more intended for stock heads, manifolds w/cats
which is why they have so much more exhaust duration than intake. You have
exhaust mods which would negate the effectivness. If you're going for better
heads in the future, like TR cams, and want a bumpy idle, try the TRak cam
@231/234. A good tune is an obvious necessity.
