Default Ls manifold

hI I AM REALLY NEW HERE. I HAVE BEEN DOING SOME REASEARCH AND HAD A QUESTION, I RECENTLY BOUGHT A 2002 FIREHAWK LS1 ENGINE. WAS THINKING OF RE DOING THE WHOLE INTAK,MAF,TB,AND MANIFOLD......WHAT SIZE DO I HAVE ON THERE RIGHT NOW, AND WOULD IT BE WORTH GOING WITH THE 102 FAST. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED,,,ALL THATS DONE IS A LID ON THE INTAKE AND EXHAUST HEADS BACK

02 LS1's come with really good intake manifolds already (LS6 style intake).. People like me that have 98'-00' fbodys typically buy an LS6 intake because we were left out with the "not so well flowing LS1 intake) . I would leave it if you are just doing bolt on parts. I dont know too much about the Fast Intakes, I know its a Reputable company but a 102Fast intake would only be worth it if you had some serious Head/Cam Package on your car because your engine can only take so much air with Factory heads/cam.

Chill out with the yelling man.

Like the above post says, the ls6 will be fine for just bolt ons. You will end up losing alot on your bottom end if you get an intake that big.

Stick with the ls6 intake and just get a good port and polished throttle body
