Default 24 or 50?

I have noticed Eagle specialties offers a 50 toothed reluctor forged 4.00 stroke crank and my 2000 LS1 5.7 which will be 383c.i. when finished came with a 24, are they interchangable with tuning? the motor is for a "swap"and there is no engine harness or ecm selected just yet, 24 or 50, any advantages? Will 50 toothed reluctor work with cable operated TB? thanks.

You need to match it with your pcm. You can get a box to convert a 58x signal so the older pcm can read it but not vice versa. And yes a cable TB will work. Lingenfelter and others make one. I would just get a pcm/harness and match the reluctor to it.
