what's the weight of T/A hatch?

alot lol. my struts dont work so i have to hold it when i put my t-tops in.

i would guess 70-80 lbs

It doesnt weigh much more than a formy hatch... the weight issue comes from so much of it being overhang... Id say about 80-85 lbs...

Oh yes it does, quite a lot more. I swapped mine on my old 96 and it was a big difference

Heavy.

- Took two strong guys to carry a Formy hatch any real distance/
- We swapped a high deck T/A hatch with that Formula hood on a drag car and it took three strong men between holding it and bolting it on.
- Glass is the primary reason for weight.
- It more has to do with the awkwardness of moving it.

well if weight is a real issue.. put on the TA hatch without the wing... i guarantee that will be the lightest option.. aside from getting an aftermarket one... and if weight isnt that big of a deal, why not go with the better looking wing...

For those racing, there is a Lexan replacement. Would be the lightest option. The Formy hatch has a little lip but weight is neglible. Lexan is not meant for true street use but there are "options"
