How to make a LS1 run in an Air Boat

I have a friend that has a 5.7 ls1 out of a 99 camaro. He has a box full of wires, the only thing i know that is missing is the computer. I'm looking for some kind of schematic to show what wires we can eleminate and which ones we need to keep, then im assuming the computer we do get will need to be tuned to it correct? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you can go to Barnes & Noble and find a book on the ls1 or you can search on eBay for the factory service manuals and that will answer all your questions. That's just what I would do.

jump over into the conversions/hybrids section, search, pin outs, and diagrams, you'll find just about all the info you need right here on this site.

Good luck with the project.
