Default heads OR 383 for a DD

2002 z28 m6, stock 241 heads, 100 (soon to be 150) wet n2o

Car is a DD, looking to make around 450ish rwhp, be "streetable", and have decent low end power

Will be doing forged rods and pistons and a Cam (with springs ect) regardless

Question is would it be better to a 383 crank for the extra torque, and I believe you can run a bigger cam with the extra displacement,

or

Upgrade heads to 2.5 5.3's or 243's, but keep the stock crank?

^^But he said that it has forged internals, so I'm thinking that the 150 shot is relatively safe on the shortblock that the car has now. I would personally go with a set of heads and get some more untapped power out of the stock displacement setup

it would not cost much more to do the 383 rotating with some good heads.if you are going to tear it apart you mite as well over do it.

I would go a budget 408 build w/ a iron 6.0 truck bottom end.
