Default Getting exhaust fabricated need advice

Had to cut of my TSP true duals and now im running around on open headers. Tomorrow I am dropping off my car at a muffler shop. He can do 3' pipes straight from my SLP longtubes to my rear. Is there anything else I could do? I want a low rumble no rasp. Also i want something that wont mess with the tune, right now my open headers feel like they r throwing gas out them MPGs r god awful lol. Thanks

Get a good X or H pipe made. Pair that with some magnaflow bullet mufflers or sweet thunders and you will be set.

i am kind of wondering this myself. i am having a lot of issues getting an x pipe to fit between my tunnel mount torque arm. i was thinking of running just pipes thru it to bullet mufflers dumped at my rear end. no x pipe. but i have read that you need the x pipe for scavenging and the sound will be much different. can anyone comment if they have had this experience also?

Not to thread jack, but why did you have to cut off the true duals?

I was moving to orlando and to get on the auto train you need 4" clearance and i had like .5 lol so i went across the street and ask the mechanics at a shell to just cut it off. Guy happened to be there and said he would buy the exhaust from me. So got to orlando with my car and got money for an exhaust i was going to just throw out

Straight pipes, without a cross over or mufflers will be loud and sound like ****. Just get a good y pipe and a good cat back.

i have a corsa catback with y pipe and sounded absolutely amazing except for the 2200-3000rpm rasp. it absolutely drove me crazy. so i disagree with this comment. i would not straight pipe it either atleast have mufflers of some type. i am really going to try to get my x pipe to fit between the tunnel brace
