Default Will a LS1 intake work on a LS2 ?

My motor came out of a 2008 TBSS so I'm in the market for a intake. I find more LS1 car intakes than LS2's and at a better price so I'm wondering can I use the LS1 ? I know that it will physically bolt up to the engine, my concern is more so with the difference in throttle body sizes ( TBSS is a 90mm ) would this hurt my performance ? Are the injectors smaller also ? I just figured GM went with the 90mm for a reason.

Go with the ls6 intake if you are buying one.

I answered this in your other thread. The Ls2 intake sucks. Plain and simple. As does the ls1 intake. Go with an ls6 intake and a stock 78mm tb and you won't be leaving anything on the table.

LS1/6 take 3bolt TBs... Forget about the LS2... Go with LS6. You can find them for $350 average. Just port the stock TB. LS6 flows better than LS2. it's been proven. But you will need fuel rails and injectors for any intake you go with. LS1/6 use same rails and injectors. Goodluck with swap
