Bringing up an old thread.
I have seen the kits that allow you to plumb the steam line into the top of the water pump. Many of the bigger builders are doing this. Is there any downside to this rather than back to the radiator?

having read this post makes me wonder my 67 camaro has ls1 & rear ports are blanked off i am running FAST manifold & throttle body i had to bend the steel cross over pipe a little to clear throttle body.i have capped the pipe @ the engine so no hose going to header tank or even radiator & dont seem to have any problems @ all but in saying this my radiator cap is the highest point of the cooling system so no air locks etc etc any problems with my set up?? cheers KABRKA
