Default 90mm tb to ls1 intake adapter

saw them for sale on ebay and was wondering if it was worth it. i have a 08 ls2 out of a tbss and a ls1 car intake and i still have the ls2 throttle body plus the ls1. just wondering if i would be better going with the 90mm tb on the ls1 intake or just leaving it as is ?

I think you should take the advice given in your other 3 threads about this same subject.

Wel if your harness if for a wire TB I believe you cnt use the cable TB. You will need a Vet TB. do not use a 90 tb on a 78 opening... No benefit. No sense to use it. Sell it. Run a ported stocker. Yes ppl will say get a LS6. but ls1 is better than truck intake... Sell both truck intake and 90tb. Maybe even ls1 to raise funds for LS6 if you REALLY want one... I would use LS1 for now... Just my opinion

a truck intake is better then a ls1 intake.why have a TB bigger then the intake opening.if you have a ls2 intake use it.or get a ported 78mm TB .you could make a adapter if you have the right equipment.

Not sure if the truck intake will fit under the hood of some of the cars I'm considering. I would like to get a nice Iroc camaro, if not a Iroc a 98-02 Firebrid or camaro

Do not waste money putting a 90mm tb on a stock intake.

The ls1 intake is the worst intake. The truck is better.

If I remember correctly the TBSS intake is better than normal trucks so you could sell both intakes and get a used ls6 intake. The prices should come back down now that the Fast 92mm is being made again.

just think of it this way, Why bottleneck your intake, if your going bigger than a stock ls1 intake in the piping, then why not upgrade the intake, your not going to be getting any extra air into the engine using bigger piping no matter how much bigger it is if the intake manifold opening is stock size, your are essentially bottlenecking the air and its going to cause turbulence and be inefficient. Go 90mm all the way or w.e. you want to do, just make sure the piping, maf, throttle body and intake circumference is the same all the way though the intake system.
