Changing a motor the redneck way

Okay this was the first time I have tried this but it is working out great! (So far) This is the reason for the motor change

This was one of the best ideas ever, If you dont have a lift, this works awsome, it keeps the back bumper from dragging when you lift the front of the car up it also gives you way more room underneath, and yes it is very stable

thats kinda how i pulled mine out...back tires on ramps and used a cherry picker to lift the front.

I just bought a different motor, going to keep it all stock I think, Hope to have it running tomorrow, So I have allot of parts off the old one if you know anyone that needs something, The block is shot, has about a 4 inch crack as the pictures show,

Glad you like the motor. Looks good. How long did the swap take? Took me 5hrs ona lift to drop the tranny and engine and three to be back in.

Justin, you are way better than we are, It took us 1 day out and 1 day in and a 1/2 a day to make sure we had everything hooked up, LOL So far so good, it was awsome to drive it for the first time, I am lovin it,,:drive:

OP - why not just use jack stands?
