Default any other free/cheap mods i missed?

I just got a 98 trans am and did k&n, free ram air mod, smooth bellow, p&p Tb, cut down egr tube inside intake, Tb coolant bypass. Is there any little cheap easy things I missed? I have a spare Corvette servo laying around, is it worth doing? This is my dd and will stay that way for a long while. No stall, cam, headers, etc. Anything else I should consider? Thanks!

Headers won't "hurt" a dd, but rather help assist air flow plus give your car an even better sound. Sorry, I know it's off topic from what you asked for

I'd love to and plan on it one day. Just trying to do lil things first off. Might do a lil suspension work too. And cosmetic.

you can find a good air lid cheap. you mentioned below but did you get a different lid? I second the strut tower brace. Maybe since its a DD for awhile try doing simple things like bolt on subframe connectors, rear lower control arms, panhard rod, again strut tower brace....do things that will get your car ready for more mods and will help get the most out of the power you have now. As far as the corvette servo i'm not sure if thats worth it or not??? maybe someone else could chime in on that.

Oh ya forgot bout strut tower brace. Lca and panhard are on the list due to the lca's being welded on for some reason :S. Forgot bout Sfc too actually! This is y I ask Haha

I don't have a lid yet. Is the lid worth it because it gets rid of the silencer crap?

A lid is probable the best first mod you can do and probable the best 'bang for you buck' mod for these cars. They usually add between 8-10 HP. And the silencers don't do anything but silencer and removing them just cleans up the engine bay some but its the underside of the lid that effects power. If you look at the stock one it has ridges which disrupt the airflow where as the aftermarket ones are smoother.

And removing AIR/EGR really doesn't do anything for power except for remove a little weight and clean up the engine bay.

Definitely get a lid on the car, great mod for the money. I highly recommend the SLP lid, I think it's one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest lid you can buy, the fitment is nice and snug on it as well.

I had a SLP before i got my FTP and the fitment and quality if 10 times better in favor of the SLP. Snug fitment and not as fragile as the Fast Toys.

Your car already has a Corvette servo, strut tower brace is cosmetic.

Ported throttle body, smooth bellows and lid. Then work the exhaust.

Suspension upgrades are always worth it on these cars now that they are older and usually pretty high in mileage.

If its an auto a stall should be the absolute first thing you should spend any large amount of money on.
