How do you tell if the rod bearings are going south,or the mains are going bad?My camaro dosent use any oil, about 1000 to 1200 rpm I feel something vibrate and at idle it tends to vibrate off and on.The oil pressure is fine but after letting it run for a while the pressure gauge tends to get antsy about 28-30 psi it drives great seems to worry me at idle,and I changed the oil around 151k it has 153k now and I noticed checking the dipstick the oil is darker than usual again it don't use any oil, I put my diagnostic reader on it and the fans don't kick on when they should and the real time data says the ect wasat 228 degrees they should kick on at 222...idk if thats the issue just concerned about the vibration I'm feeling at idle and up to 1200 rpm and the gauge acting crazy with no consumption of oil I'm stumped!
