Good heads and cam, intake, bolt-ons, some suspension work, and a good tire.

well "noauto" an automatic might be easier for your goals all joking aside. a 3800 stall would help greatly and will provide more consistent track times.

but if you search this site you will find specific builds many others have done to get those ranges. we cant tell you how to build your motor because well for one its your motor and for two we dont know what your looking for. just a high ten, low 11 isnt really specific. what kind of driveability are you looking at? is this an f body or a swapped car? do you want FI or N/A or N20? is this a dd? will it be street raced as well as tracked? how much are you willing to spend on the setup? are you aware you need supporting things such as suspension so you dont just sit there and spin and do you know of the notoriously weak rear end in the f body if you own an f body?

Well the first thing you need is $$$$$$$$$$, yeah go ahead and count them, there's 10 of them and thats about how many thousands of dollars you'll need. The only shortcut is nitrous, but you may pay in the end if you get greedy! Don't want to rain on your project but its not cheap. Good Luck!! Keep us posted on the progress! Larry.
