LS6 intake swap then a knock
Just finished putting on a LS6 intake, fired it up and there was a spuratic popping noise. Shut it off, inspected and tried again with the same result. I let it run for about a minute and seemed to stop. I gave it a little rev and now I have a knock in the right bank also a noticeable different exhaust tone. I deribbed the underside of the ls6 and after shook it really well to make sure nothing was in there. Any and all advise is appreciated!

If all the electrical connections are fully seated(clicked), intake torqued to spec and in the correct sequence, an map sensor seated in intake hole then it's time to remove the intake and check the port seals, knock sensor wiring for damage and look for plastic intake ribs over, or in the intake ports of the heads. There's also the possibility that the MAFS got some dust/dirt on it.
Is it throwing any codes?
